The Carbon Social Cycle Club goes Forth!

Sunday 20th April proved to be yet another lovely day for the Carbon Social Cycle Club. The route this month was north and across the Forth Road Bridge, which was predictably blustery, but unpredictably busy with children in ‘onesies’.

The cake stop was in South Queensferry where, weighed down by cake and scones, we posed for the photograph above. Don’t be fooled by the professional looking setup, it is only really Andy in the Wiggle Honda kit who is a proper cyclist!

Thanks, once again, to all for coming along. The next Carbon Social Cycle Club ride will be on 25th May, joining the final leg of the Carbon Four Offices Challenge from Glasgow to Edinburgh.

The challenge will begin in Aberdeen on the 23rd, before cycling to Perth, Glasgow, and Edinburgh, all in order to raise money for Aberlour Child Care Trust.

Hopefully we’ll see several of you join us for the final leg, but for those preferring to take in a few miles less, we are planning to meet at Linlithgow and head to Edinburgh from there as a group. There will be some drinks and snacks at our office at the end of the run.

Following the final leg of the Carbon Four Offices Challenge on the 25th May, June’s ride will be on 15th – further dates will be confirmed in due course.
