Supporting mental health awareness week at Carbon

Last week, Carbon’s Wellbeing team supported Wear It Green Day as part of Mental Health Awareness Week. It was an opportunity to reflect, connect, and show our commitment to wellbeing across the business.

Colleagues took part in a range of creative and community-focused activities, with many also showing their support by wearing green on the dayw. From our Bake It Green Bake Sale, which sparked both great conversations and delicious moments to a relaxing lunchtime crafting session where we painted watercolour bookmarks, it was great to see so many people coming together to create, connect, and recharge.

Our home baking raised a fantastic £101 to support The Mental Health Foundation and Carbon matched this contribution, bringing the total raised to £202.

At Carbon, we take wellbeing seriously. We’re proud to have five trained Mental Health First Aiders who can offer initial support to anyone experiencing mental health challenges. Creating a safe and supportive environment where people feel able to speak openly is central to who we are.

Throughout the week, we’ve also been sharing simple, practical tips, highlighting how small everyday habits can make a meaningful difference to our mental wellbeing. Because it’s often the little things that add up.
