Spring through the lens: Carbon’s photo competition

It’s been a cracking spring this year – mostly dry (for a change!) and full of golden evening skies. Our wellbeing team’s Spring photo competition kicked off last month, and the entries rolled in thick and fast.

We saw sunsets to die for, blooming flowers, cute kids, colourful spring blooms to serene harbours, and sandy beaches. The competition brought out the best of the season in every corner of the map.

Our Carbon team hit the road to capture Spring in its full glory. We’ve been everywhere from the dramatic peaks of the Cairngorms to sunny strolls along St Andrews beach and braving the chill in Applecross. Someone from the team even managed to snap a couple of shots in Sydney and Perth, Australia (where technically it is Autumn, not Spring!).

After much deliberation, our wellbeing team picked two winners. Congratulations to John Unsworth, whose breathtaking sunset over Ben Ledi and Ben Lomond received the most votes. And to Lesley Auld for her adorable snuggly lambs at Auchingarrich – springtime sweetness at its finest!
