Richie tees up at our Blairgowrie golf day

DP World Tour professional Richie Ramsay teed-up a masterclass for our guests at the Carbon Financial Golf Day held at The Blairgowrie Golf Club.

With a free weekend on his schedule while Team Europe won the Ryder Cup in dramatic fashion at Bethpage Black in the USA, we were delighted our Tour ambassador could join us for a game over the Lansdowne Course which has hosted the 2014 Junior Ryder Cup and many other high-profile tournaments. Carbon is a corporate partner at Blairgowrie and Richie features on the club scorecards.

Managing director Gordon Wilson said: “It was great having Richie along to share his thoughts on the Ryder Cup and pass on a few golfing tips. As ever, Lansdowne was in fantastic condition, and our guests saw it at its autumnal best. Richie was very impressed with the course. Many thanks to all the staff who looked after us so well.”

It was a particularly enjoyable day for our director Mark Christie, whose team took the honours. He was joined by Pete Stewart, Steven Thomson and Stan Moroney.
