Mission (almost) accomplished: Carbon's epic virtual journey

Here at Carbon we love a good challenge, especially a sporting one, and we recently embarked on an epic mission to (virtually!) travel between all the Carbon and Progeny offices, both in the UK and overseas, before heading back to finish at our Edinburgh office.

The total distance to cover was 16,010.5 miles in 93 days between 28 team members, travelling to each of our UK offices before heading overseas to Belgium, Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore! Every hop, step, pedal and yoga pose counted, and we partnered with My Virtual Mission so that team members could record their distance covered in a handy app.

While we didn’t quite make it all the way back to Edinburgh, we did manage to:

• Visit all 21 UK offices 🚶🏻‍➡️👣

• Visit the Belgium, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong offices 🚶🏻‍➡️👣

and

• Cover 12,997.8 miles in 93 days! 🚶🏻‍➡️👣

A big shout out goes to Gordon Wilson who clocked up an impressive 2,350.45 miles, earning him the top spot on the leaderboard and contributing 18.08% of the total miles covered and well done to everyone else who took part.

We didn’t quite make it this time, but that simply means extra motivation or roping in some extra colleagues if we do it again next year! Go Team Carbon 💪🏻
