Carbon Wellbeing Update – September 2023

As you will know if you follow Carbon, we are dedicated to investing in Employee Wellbeing.

We firmly believe that our Wellbeing events have a significant impact on both our employees and our organisation.

These events are aimed at enhancing creativity, innovation, and teamwork. As well as feeling valued and supported thus leading to improved resilience, productivity and morale.

We have received positive feedback on our culture from colleagues, clients and business associates, alike.

So, what have we been up to lately?

  • Our Team has a real sense of social responsibility and taking part in the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning led to us baking, donating, and raising a further £400.00 which will help support those living with cancer. Thank you to everyone who took part and donated.Carbon Wellbeing Update – September 2023.
  • Taking part in happiness at work week, aimed to be fun, promoting health, exercise, music, chocolate (it’s good for you!), and relaxation – all of which are essential to our ongoing well-being.
  • Getting back to nature - we judged our Sunflower growing contest and Aleksandra Ward was the worthy winner of the adult section – Aleksandra should also get a special mention for nurturing all our office plants. Harris Scott was the winner of the junior competition; it was great to have an event involving all ages. Well done to everyone who managed to grow a sunflower 😊.

Thanks as always to our hard-working Well-being and Social Teams for their ideas and organisation, all in all September has been a great month and we are already looking forward to our next events.
