In mid-August a small group of us met early on a Saturday morning at Madderty Hall in deepest Perthshire for the first Carbon Social Cycle Club ‘easy riders’ run.
The 40 mile route was challenging but beautiful, and we were lucky to have good weather, even some sunshine!
We rode through Auchterarder, Gleneagles, over the Comrie Moor and down to Comrie itself for coffee and possibly the largest slices of cake in Britain at the Tullybannocher Café. We then set off for Crieff and back to Madderty for lunchtime.
Thanks to everyone who came along; we hope you enjoyed the ride!
